Image
The month of March is drawing to a close, and it's not lost on me that it coincides with Easter Day. To me, this convergence symbolizes a fresh start, a chance to delve into the profound implications of the completed work of the cross. But enough preamble, let's dive into today's installment of "Moments with Grace." In this edition, Grace will delve into the profound topic of Jesus Christ, our Living Hope. We are in the season of Easter which is the bedrock of our Christian   Faith💖 The Bible says : ”And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.“ John 17:3 NKJV Jesus is the son of the living God. He is the way, the Truth and the Life No one comes to the father except through Him. Jesus is the lamb that was slain so sinners like you and I can be set free from the wages of sin(death) The passage of scripture below gives us a vivid description of the origin of sin and God’s gift of Grace: ”

Moments with Grace 10: Rainbow for Christ

Was it just me, or did the month of February seem to move rather slowly? However, we are glad that the month is ending today 💃 💃 💃 On this edition of "Moments with Grace," she will be discussing the Rainbow for Christ . The Rainbow is a symbol of God’s covenant with man in the book of Genesis 9:12-17 not to destroy the earth again with water as seen in the text below: ”Then God said, “I am giving you a sign of my covenant with you and with all living creatures, for all generations to come. I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth. When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will appear in the clouds, and I will remember my covenant with you and with all living creatures. Never again will the floodwaters destroy all life. When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember the eternal covenant between God and every living creature on earth.” Then God said to Noah, “Yes, this rainbow is the sign of the cove

Moments with Grace 9: The heavens declare God’s glory

As I was dropping my kids off for an event one early morning, I couldn't help but be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the sky, as captured in the picture above. The scene immediately brought to mind the words of Psalm 19 , and I felt compelled to share these verses with you. I believe they carry a special message that might resonate with and bless you : ”The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race. The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat. The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving

2024: A Year of Restoration and Divine Surprises

Happy New Year, everyone!   😎 2024 has been described in many ways, but for me, some of the resonating themes are: Rest (Isinmi), Great Rewards, Greater Possibilities, Alignment, and Restoration . Recently, while reading the book of Genesis, I discovered a profound depiction of restoration. When Joseph revealed himself to his brothers and requested them to bring back their father, I could vividly imagine the myriad of emotions running through their minds as they embarked on the journey back home. From the shock of seeing Joseph again to recalling the dreams he shared with them, and finally, the overwhelming relief and joy of delivering the incredible news to their father that his favorite son was alive. Imagine being Benjamin or inside the chariots as they returned to tell their father that Joseph was alive. In my mind, I would be secretly wishing the chariots could transform into jets so I could appear before Jacob sharperly (swiftly). 😂 But since the jet wish wasn't feasible an

It’s New Year’s Eve and what a privilege to be alive to see it! In this past year, we all have experienced God’s love, grace and mercy in diverse ways and He deserves all the glory, praise and thanksgiving. There is a song that says; "count your blessings name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done". I would like you to take a few minutes and think about what the Lord has done for you this past year. I was talking with my children about the miracles we’ve experienced from God and when we started listing them, we were amazed at God’s faithfulness. You can start with at least 10 things you are grateful for….. Things like the breath of life, the gift of salvation, the gift of family and friends, food ,clothes shelter, etc   Please be intentional about it. Write in down in a book or on your phone and you might out number 10 without realizing it. God has really been faithful🙌   The Bible says we should give thanks to

Gloryyyyy!!!  We made it to the month of December…God be praised!!! Let’s head straight to the post of the day. On this post, Grace talks about the need to hit the ground running. Sounds familiar… *** Over to you Gracey… Hit the Ground Running! Do you sometimes have a sense of God calling you or needing your attention? Let’s journey through these people’s life experiences and how they yielded to Jesus our master. “One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers—Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew—throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living. Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed him. A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, repairing their nets. And he called them to come, too. They immediately followed him, leaving the boat and thei

Hello Fam!!!   Glad we all made it to the last day of the month of October. On this edition of moments with Grace. She will be shedding more light on “ The Battle for the Human Soul ” Over to you Grace… Did you know that the battles we fight today are more Spiritual than Physical? The devil has long been fighting God, but we know the end of the story… In today’s reading, I will like us to look at the text below in the context of Jesus being The Way, The Truth and The Life (John 14:6) Please have a read:1 Kings 3:16-28 NLT In the beginning, God had a perfect plan to fellowship with man so when man fell into sin, God in His wisdom, made a divine plan to rescue him from the power of sin and death by sending His son Jesus Christ to reconcile us to himself. What a distinct form of love ever expressed on the earth. The Bible says “All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all. Isaiah 53:6 NLT
